Lemon juice can reduces mucus accumulation

In bronchitis, the bronchi become thick and inelastic. The mucus becomes thick and dry and the normal action of cilia (the little hairs that help remove waste an) bacteria) is reduced by degeneration, leading to retained mucus.

In attempt to expel the mucus manufactured by the inflame bronchial tubes the person cough, and for this reason bronchitis is often a chesty complaint.

*Sip two mouthfuls of lemon juice, three times a day. Lemon helps dissolve and eliminate excess mucus in the respiratory system, restores mucous membranes and tissue integrity in the system, thus preventing mucus excretion through the lungs and nose.

*Drink plenty of fresh pineapple and lemon juice, rose-petal and rosehip tea, sweetened with honey if desired, as often.
