Lemon juice can improves digestive system

Lemon is an important medicinal plant of the family Rutaceae. Citrus fruits contain various kinds of flavonoids such as flavanone glycoside, flavone glycoside, and polymethoxyflavone.

The lemon, a representative citrus fruit, includes bioactive components such as citric acid, polyphenol, and ascorbic acid, and it is reported that there are various health benefits.

Lemon juice increases hepatobiliary excretion and therefore may improve digestive function. Lemon juice is a good appetizer and digestive.

While they break down of the macro molecules of the food, the flavonoids, the compounds found in lemon juice, stimulate the digestive system and increase secretion of digestive juices, bile and acids and also stimulate the peristaltic motion.
