Banana Juice
Bananas have the number-one vote as American’s favorite fruit. They are commonly recommended as a potassium source in those patients on potassium losing diuretic therapy. Bananas are almost completely carbohydrate. They contain many vitamins and minerals, including iron, selenium and magnesium.
The best way to juice banana is to soak it in water overnight before pureeing the mixture or to make a smoothie.
Method:
Peel the banana and slice (1 banana)
Cover the fruit with water (1 cup) and leave to stand overnight or for at least 6 hours.
Puree the mixture
Add lemon juice (1/2) and cinnamon to taste.
Banana juice is consumed as a beverage base and health drink. Banana juice sometimes used to be mixed with other fruit juices or drinks for additional flavor.
