Prune Juice and Healthy Benefits

Prune juice is made by soaking prunes, which are actually dried plums, and extracting their water by osmosis.

The benzoic and quinic acids in prune juice make it an excellence laxative.

They are also a good source of iron and other useful in hemoglobin rebuilding during anemia.

Prune juices also have antioxidant content. Prune juice is a good of vitamin A and the minerals copper and iron.

It is also an excellent remedy for sore throat, taken either plain or mixed with a little honey.
