Apricot juice/nectar

Apricots (Prunus armeniaca) are stone fruits also known as Armenian plums. They’re extremely nutritious and have many health benefits, such as improved digestion and eye health.

The word nectar may be used to describe this type of apricot juice because apricots are not very juicy, so their juice tends to be thicker than most fruit juices. Nectar typically refers to a syrupy, sweet liquid, whereas juice is thin and runny.

Apricots like any other fruit has lot of nutrients especially good for skin. Adding fresh apricot juice to the morning routine might be beneficial in many ways. Apricots are loaded with antioxidants and protects the skin from a number of skin woes like sun damage and premature ageing, and also shield the skin from environmental aggressors.

It is rich in vitamin E and antioxidant properties which keep damage at bay and promote the revival of skin cells. Apricots are a good source of dietary fiber. Given that the retinol in apricot is fat soluble, the fruit dissolves in the body easily, and the important nutrients are easily absorbed by the system.
